This is totally new to me, but I think that I will definitely enjoy this. I have always wanted to blog but have always had trouble with what I should blog about. I always figure that the life I live might not be too interesting but I have decided to write about things that I love and that maybe can be helpful or of use to others. Here is a little history. I am a wife to a wonderful husband Nathan and we have been married as of next Thursday for 10 years. So crazy to think that it has been that long but have loved every minute of it. I have two awsome kids Parker my little ball of energy is 6 and is full of life and is the most loving little man you'll ever meet. Emma is 3 and is my little princess she is a opinionated, loving little girl who always seems to amaze us with her understanding and compassion. We live in Lincoln Nebraska and absolutely love it here, although my husband would love to live outside of the city I really like living in the business of it all. We have been here for 3 years, and have made wonderful friendships.
As I was saying I want to blog about things that I like and that might help someone out there and so I am going to keep track of my training and would like to post things that might help out the health and fitness aspect of lives. I am a Personal Trainer and have been for 7 years. I really love my job. The clients I have are so awesome. The whole reason I got into training was to help myself at first. I had declining health after Parker was born with High blood pressure and post pardom depression I had to struggle with just keeping myself functioning. I almost lost my son after a very hard 8 month pregnancy and myself. So my goal after Parker was born was to be healthy for my son and my husband. So I began to train.
I really like changing the lives of people and seeing them transform into happy, healthy individuals. That is the real reason for my job. Not to many people can say they love there Job but yes I do.
I am currently going to be running the Lincoln Half Marathon in two weeks and am very excited about it. I have had a rough winter with some illness and am happy for spring to be here. I have trained very hard for this run and will give it my best shot. One of the goals I have set to accomplish is to run the NYC Marathon. I would love to run that race and want to keep track of my progress on this blog. I am now needed by my 3 year old to help with her princess costume not to mention the chores that need to be done. So I must say goodbye for now, and until next time:)
